Welcome to Cork. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cork mobile app and related services (“Cork”). By using Cork, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Cork.
Cork is intended only for adults of legal drinking age. By using Cork you represent that you are at least 21 years old, or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction if higher. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
Cork is a personal wine assistant that helps you catalog your collection and provides informational recommendations about what to drink, buy, or sell, generated with the help of AI. Cork does not sell, deliver, or facilitate the purchase of alcohol. Recommendations, ratings, drinking windows, valuations, and pairings are informational only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not professional, financial, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, including any purchases you make from third parties. Please drink responsibly.
Cork works without an account; adding your email is optional and enables cross-device recovery (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for maintaining access to the email and devices associated with your account and for activity that occurs through them. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete my data.
You agree not to: use Cork for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to Cork's systems or other users' data; probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its rate limits; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; or misuse the AI features to generate unlawful or abusive content. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or threatens the service.
Cork integrates with and links to third-party services (for example CellarTracker, Google, Anthropic, and wine retailers or price-comparison sites such as Wine-Searcher). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Cork is not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or the outcome of any transaction you enter into with them.
Cork, including its software, design, and the content we provide, is owned by Cork and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cork for its intended personal use. Data you provide (your cellar, ratings, and preferences) remains yours; you grant Cork the permissions needed to operate the service and deliver the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Cork is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that recommendations, valuations, or drinking windows are correct or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cork and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Cork or from decisions you make based on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We may modify Cork or these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app; continued use means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using Cork at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.
